  The standard tuning for ukulele is G C E A. The following chords are based in this standard tuning. Keep in mind that the same shapes on the highest 4 strings of the guitar can be used on the ukulele, but they will be 2 whole steps and 1 half step up (this is a fourth scale degree). A G chord shape will become C on ukulele. A D chord shape on guitar becomes G on ukulele.
